MANUFACTURING PRE-DELIVERY

Once equipment brought to Australia we prepare it for delivery at one of our workshops by removing assets from containers and OEM checks. We make sure any damage is repaired and warranty paperwork is lodged. Equipment is then cleaned, checked and prepared for delivery to you the customer.

ROUTINE MAINTENENCE

Inspections are required under the Australian Standard AS2550.10.  The frequency shall be based on the working environment and the frequency and severity of use. The routine inspection and maintenance shall be carried out no more than three-monthly intervals, while the annual inspection interval shall not exceed 12 months.

A written report is to be provided, which will include repairs completed and recommendations for continued safe operation.

MAJOR INSPECTIONS

In accordance with the Australian Standard, within 10 years of service from the Date Of Commission (DOC) all critical components are to be inspected and tested by a competent person.  The scheduling of components for inspection and testing shall be based on the operational history and anticipated future use of the Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP), but not longer than 10 years, then 5 years thereafter.

Where necessary the MEWP shall be stripped down and paint, grease and corrosion removed from critical components to allow a complete and thorough inspection.  A written report shall be furnished on completion of the inspection.

WORKSHOP REPAIRS

Repairs requiring the dismantling of major components are carried out in the workshop with assistance and guidance from workshop technicians using equipment such as forklifts and overhead gantry’s. Sometimes repairs are delayed while waiting for parts, but rest assured, within the workshop equipment is protected from the elements and is stored in a secure location awaiting reassembly.

REMOTE SERVICING & INSPECTIONS 

Servicing and fault diagnosis is conducted on site using our mobile service technicians. Quick repairs and inspections are normally completed within 2-3 hours and organised by calling us to book in a time.
