At Access Service, we want technicians to learn, improve your skillset, and develop your inner tradesperson. Maintaining equipment, such as conveyor belts or even oil rigs can be repetitive. Each day at ASA & ASNZ is different, you will be working on a large variety of elevating work platforms (EWP’s), telehandlers, borers, light towers, caravans and more.
What you can Expect at Access Service
Typically, Access Service, repair and maintain equipment for hire companies and end users. ASA & ASNZ do not hire equipment but work with hire companies to keep their machines working. Our technicians are our front-line representatives, we are proud to have them as the face of our Company, and invest in them accordingly.
Family first attitude is important at ASA & ASNZ, we understand the pressure a young family or illness can put on an employee, while we provide 38 hours of employment a week, we are conscious that employees may need an earlier start or later finish to accommodate childcare. Overtime is generally always offered; we are fortunate to have more work than hours available.
What to Know
EWPs and Telehandlers are classified as High-Risk Plant, repairing these machines is often complicated and challenging. Training is essential, but even more important to us, is your attitude and aptitude, working as a team to solve mechanical problems. Rebuilding and repairing customer machinery is in our DNA. Quality service support combined with an excellent customer experience.
What we’re looking for
The expectation that technicians arrive at ASA & ASNZ fully capable of working on equipment, is unrealistic. ASA & ASNZ invest time into training, helping technicians to become the best they can be. From day one, new technicians will work with experienced mentors, in our workshops. Online training is made available to sharpen both hydraulic and electrical fault finding. TAFE courses provide hands on technical training, along with manufacturer training to learn the many ways manufacturers design their machines.

Our technicians work on a variety of customer equipment, rarely servicing or repairing the same piece of equipment, day in day out. At ASA & ASNZ, we work on many brands and models, so you will not be limited in your learning either.
